Writing From Your Soul: necessary for a rich, fulfilling life.

Pretty big words, huh? They're easy words to live by... and hard words. It's kind of like the saying, "The days are long, but the years are short." In the big picture, we KNOW we want to be our best, deepest, most authentic selves. Day-to-day, though, it's easy to get caught up in small and big drama, kids sick, homework to review, the report due to the client tomorrow, what to make for dinner...

That's why I'm going to be working on my big dream: writing and publishing a book. I say all the time that my biggest dream is to be a published author, yet I make very little headway on a daily basis. It's the big goal, but my daily actions don't support it.

That's going to stop now.

In trying to go after my big dream, I'm also trying to let go of the Superwoman syndrome where I think I can do it all, and that I'm responsible for everything. What that means is that I have to let something go, and right now, that something is a big portion of Write Well U programs and products.

Don't get me wrong. I adore creating new programs and products, but the truth is that it takes me away from my bigger dream. Any time and energy spent there is time and energy NOT spent on writing my book (well, actually, books - plural. I have three in the works).
